OF OUR/ FOREFATHERS/ BY A/ GRATEFUL PEOPLE/
DEDICATED/ AUG. 1,/ 1889. The medal is attached to a
R/W/B ribbon. The header (with pinback missing) has separated

been cleaned and has a number of visible edge nicks on each
side. (Quint). Obv: Standing female holding inscribed ribbon,
hand on U.S. shield, globe behind inscribed: OUR/FIELD, expo
buildings behind, stone at feet with 1893. Rx: Landing scene
with kneeling Columbus and shipmates with date 1892 below.
