So-Called Dollars

WHOM THE TRUTH/ MAKES FREE. (F)

The “He is a freeman” quotation is from the poem “The

Freeman” by the English poet, William Cowper. The HK first

edition listed only a white metal striking. However, additional

strikes were made in silver, copper, bronze, brass and nickel.

HK’s listing of this piece as a centennial item is in error. (G)
