231. PAIR OF THEODORE ROOSEVELT BOOKENDS, ND.
Cast Bronze. Unsigned. XF. Each bookend is composed of two
parts. The interior is composed of a cast bronze profile portrait of
TR facing right. Its dimensions are 4 ¼ x 4 ½” with an arched top.
It has then been inserted and screwed into a 5 ¾ x 7 x 2 1/8” cast
bronze frame. Probably the most desirable of the four bookend
sets offered here. (G)

The back of the base is inscribed: “BORN NEW YORK, NY
