Obverse with center portrait of George Bush, his name above. In

small letters beneath the bust, JANUARY 20, 1981. The reverse is

inscribed VICE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES within a

band around the Vice Presidential eagle. The medal is housed in a

blue cardboard box emblazoned with the Vice Presidential Seal.

This medal was presented to those attending the Vice President’s

reception during the 1981 inaugural festivities. Several thousand of

these medals were struck. (C)
