51.3mm. Silver. (40 grams) EdwardStabler, Sc. Lightlyhairlined

XF/AU. The obverse features a standing figure of Justice with

scales held aloft in her left hand and her right holding a sword

resting against the ground. Articles of commerce and ships are

in the background. BALTIMORE in the exergue. The reverse

bears a wreath closed by AWARDED/ TO/ (hand engraved).

bronze shell with a glob of lead at the center of the reverse. F.

N. Mitchell, Sc. XF. This obverse shell presents a stern portrait

of Washington to the left in a plain field. Probably struck as a

die trial. (F)

Lindesmith NE-1. 48.2mm. Silver. (50.4 grams) William H.

Key, Sc. (Unsigned) Hairlined XF/AU with a minor rim dent at

6:00. . The obverse depicts a rural scene of domestic animals

and the arms of the New England states above. The reverse bears

an upraised arm holding a hammer and below: AWARDED

TO. Around the border is an open wreath closed by an shield

inscribed with the date 1875. The central award inscription is to:

E.D. & O.B. REYNOLDS/ SULKYATTACHMENT. (F-G)

Unsigned. NGC AU 55 BN. (XF with a scrape on the hind

quarter of the steer in the foreground and another in the upper

left center field. There are also a few scattered dark spots.) The

obverse legend, VENERATE THE PLOUGH is above a scene of

two steers pulling a plow. In exergue: THE AGRICULTURAL/
