In a discussion of the Washington variety, a note in 12 AJN 25,
states “25 struck in bronze and a smaller number in silver for a
jeweler named Delon.” We assume, without knowing for certain,
that the other four varieties have similar mintages. Our search
of modern auction sales has yielded only one appearance of a
silver example in this series – a Goldberg Auction of 9/22/13 of
a silver Washington medal (NGC MS-65) yielded a price realized
of $881.00. ($800-1000)
