ring set with three round-cut diamonds,
weighing approximately 1.13 carats, .94
carat, and .87 carat, sold for $6875 (est.
$6000/9000).
This circa 1910 yellow gold, platinum,
natural pearl, diamond, and demantoid
garnet ring was accompanied by a GIA
report stating that the central half pearl
is a natural, freshwater Unio species. It
brought $2812.50 (est. $1500/2500).

" Cartier Art Deco natural
pearl, platinum, and diamond clip brooch,
set with a central natural pearl measuring
approximately 9.60 to 9.70 mm and
accented by five natural pearls measuring
approximately 4.15 to 4.40 mm each,
was accompanied by a GIA report that
identified all pearls as natural, the central
as a freshwater Unio species, and the five
remaining as saltwater Pinctada species. It
sold for $27,500 (est. $15,000/25,000).
This Edwardian platinum and old
European-cut diamond twin ring was from
the Turnbull collection. The first diamond
weighs 2.99 carats and was accompanied
by a GIA report stating that the diamond
color is F and the clarity is VS2; the second
diamond weighs 2.89 carats and was
accompanied by a GIA report stating that
the diamond color is D, clarity is VS1, and
that it has strong blue fluorescence, good
symmetry, and very good polish. The ring
sold for $50,000 (est. $15,000/25,000).
This Art Deco platinum, blue sapphire,
and diamond ring with a central
modified octagonal step-cut blue sapphire
weighing approximately 3.42 carats was
accompanied by an AGL report stating
that it is natural corundum, blue color,
with an origin of Burma, with no heat or
clarity enhancement. It sold for $8750
(est. $3000/5000).
This 6¼" long Cartier Art Deco
platinum, seed pearl, and diamond
bracelet is missing the outer two
strands of seed pearls but still sold
above the high estimate for $6250
(est. $3000/5000).
This 7½" long circa 1930 Art Deco platinum, emerald, and diamond bracelet
from the Turnbull collection sold for $10,000 (est. $6000/9000).
This Art Deco 3.51-carat old European cut-diamond
and platinum ring was accompanied by a GIA
report stating that the diamond is H color, SI1
clarity, with no fluorescence. It realized $31,250
(est. $20,000/40,000).
The circa 1930 emerald and seed pearl sautoir
and earrings were Adducci’s favorite in the sale.
They were accompanied by an AGL report stating
that eight of the ten freeform emeralds tested are of
Colombian origin, and the remaining two emerald
beads are of Brazilian origin. The emeralds
measure approximately 18.00 mm x 14.34 mm x
8.75 mm to approximately 8.20 mm x 7.22 mm
x 4.66 mm each. The three-piece set brought
$20,625 (est. $3000/5000).

more affordable items in the
Joseph DuMouchelle sale.
It sold for $625

This Art Deco platinum Kashmir sapphire and
diamond ring with a central cushion faceted
blue sapphire weighing approximately 1.53
carats was accompanied by an AGL report
stating that the stone’s origin is Kashmir
and that it has no gemological evidence
of heat treatment. It sold for $31,250 (est.
$15,000/25,000).
