Wilmont “Bill” and Arlene Schwind of W. M. Schwind, Jr., Yarmouth,
Maine, displayed a group of seven Wedgwood plates decorated with
images from Clare Leighton woodcuts depicting various types of
early American industry, such as ice cutting, milling, and tobacco
harvesting. The 1950s plates were $475 each. The decanters ranged
from $495 to $695, and the demitasse cups and saucers with Art
Nouveau-style silver overlay were tagged $750 for the set.

cherry farm table is French, circa 1880, with breadboard ends and a long drawer on one
end and a pull-out extension board on the other. The table was $7800. The assembled set of
ladder-back chairs is English and was tagged $4800. The copper food molds were $375 each,
and the late 19th- or early 20th-century painted terra-cotta bull’s head butcher’s trade sign
was marked $4800.
