A BLAST FROM THE PAST or Looks Like a Kathy Schoemer

Ad from the 1970’s! When

M.A.D

. was young, and so was I, Sam

would love my little ads with all the simple treasures I liked best.

This month, I celebrate

M.A.D.

and Sam and me with a sweet

little group of timeless things: min. brass sticks with painted

wooden candles; a real country doll in a muslin/white checked

dress; a dovetailed blue min. dome-top box; wicker basket filled

with wooden clothes pegs and 3 old calico hearts hanging from

the handle; and a small wooden panel painted in the Porter style.

The majority of the group has been with me since the early days.
