American, cotton, the corner embroidered “This is the
jubilee decorating of Emaus in 1909 From August 1st
to Seventh,” hand quilted in red thread, 75" x 74", a

Amish quilt, Rainbow Bar pattern, probably Pennsylvania,
first quarter of the 20th century, cotton, printed backing,
hand quilted in diamond and chain design, 82" x 84",
several small stains, some color loss, $360.
“Hemfield Railroad” coverlet, American, mid-19th
century, red, blue, and natural, wool and cotton, the
double border depicting an early locomotive with
engineer and a “No. 240” tender, each corner block
having a man’s profile within circular text, 80" x 84",
wear and losses, top quarter very worn, $1000.
Sawtooth Square in a Square pattern
pieced quilt in red and yellow, American,
20th century, hand quilted in cable and
diamond design, 81" x 82", small stain, two
possible ink marks, $510.
“Liberty” coverlet dated 1854, red and white, wool and
cotton, each corner with a shield-breasted eagle under
an “E Pluribus Unum” banner, the center with a floral
medallion, two pairs of American flags and four profiles of
Lady Liberty, “Woven At Palmyra N.Y. By Ira Hadsell”
and “Delia Curtice” along one edge, 84" x 88", slight
toning, some white spots and stains, $510.
New York jacquard coverlet, the corner block picturing
a shield-breasted spread-wing eagle and lettered “Olivia
P. Lewis / Jefferson. Co. NY. / 1845,” the borders showing
fruit trees and a fence, blue and white, wool and cotton,

orange ground, checked backing, American, late 19th or
