Fine Black Forest Carving by Johann Grossmann
Signed, “J. Grossmann/ Sculpteur”. Monogrammed at the back
“BFL/CFL”. Johann Grossmann ran a thriving studio near Brienz,
Switzerland and exhibited at numerous International Exhibitions,
including Vienna in 1873, the Philadelphia Centennial Exhibition
of 1876, and Zurich, 1883. 24" x 11" x 19" tall.
