This season’s two-day auction will feature an important collection of over 175 lots of
Historical 18th & 19th-C. costumes from the Metropolitan Museum of Art (MMA), the
Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), the Fashion Institute of Technology
(FIT), Shippensburg University, Historical Societies, and others. Property from private
collectors and estates will also be sold, including works by two of America’s most
celebrated African American Fashion Designers: Ann Cole Lowe and Bill Smith.

The Friday sale will be live in the salesroom ONLY. There will be no on-line bidding on Friday. The
discovery or un-cataloged box lot sale will also be held on Friday at the conclusion of the day. Friday’s
sale will include clothing and textiles from all periods. All lots offered on Saturday will be available for
on-line bidding. If you have seen items photographed on our website, they will be sold on Saturday. It
is strongly suggested that you attend both sale days, however if you can only attend one we recommend
you attend Friday for the regular and Discovery sale then bid on-line for the Saturday Auction. Please
