and a watermelon. A signature

l/r appears to be Martha

Becker. There is a no-see small

repair and touchup to one

orange. Framed dimensions are

16" x 28"; 12" x 23½" sight.

As hard as it is to believe, this

winter will be over and soon it will

be time for—watermelon! Here are

two artful reminders of what you

have to look forward to. The single

beautifully painted watermelon is

19th century, unsigned, and in a

gold frame placed in a glass-fronted

shadow box. In perfect condition,

the shadow box measures 30¼"

high, 34¼" wide, and 4¼" deep.
