Another top seller from the Reventlow

estate was this Ostertag Art Deco 18k yel-

low gold compact with compartments for

lipstick, lighter, mirror, powder, watch,

and comb. It was set with 66 rubies and

66 diamonds, and each piece had an eagle

head touchmark stamped “Ostertag

Paris Depose 39149.” Weighing a total

of 289.9 grams, the compact sold well

above the high estimate for $19,200 (est.

Historical Society, this 18k gold 7½'' long bracelet set with

nine oval-cut green jade stones and eight diamonds brought

This Patek Philippe man’s wristwatch, 18k gold with

a gold band and black dial set with diamonds, was

marked “E. Gübelin Patek Philippe Geneve.” It sold for

with mounted stones, one with coral faces, and a pair

of clip-on earrings (property from a private collection
