Hancock, NH 1825
Sibel Farmer (1812-1895), one of six children of Oliver and Lucy (Moore) Farmer, worked
this sampler at age 13. At age 20 she married John Eaton and they had 4 children. She lived
after her husband’s death at what is now The Hancock Inn, which was owned and operated
by her oldest son. Silk on linen; 20” x 20” framed.
