four board pine top with full length cleats has
as fine a surface as one could want—worn soft,
and with shrinkage cracks which give it a great
presence. Original red paint on the base and
underside of top. Pine throughout, with oak
shoe feet, and constructed with ‘t-head’ nails.
Ht. 26 ¾".

is is the only hutch table in this
form with these proportions that I have seen.
Probably NH, last quarter of the 18th century.
